My art is my visual diary. But eventually, I felt that communicating my emotions through only visual images couldn’t completely encapsulate how I felt. I started writing poetry in 2025, and many of my poems were written as a direct link to a painting. Sometimes, I write the poem after creating my artwork, and other times I might write the poem before creating the painting. To take this artistic catharsis even further, I’ve written several songs out of the words in my poems that I hope to release sometime soon. Each painting, poem, and song is a piece of me and my life experience. I feel most inspired by love, loss, and identity.
