I was recently contacted by a fellow artist from the @furmanart Found Family show. They gave me an amazing opportunity to be a part of their Masters Thesis to normalize queer educators. I found this project to be really unique, and I am excited to see my portrait and the finished project! This drawing is my reflective art journal, which was part of the interview process. I wanted to reflect on how teaching is giving the gift of knowledge, and how important diversity is in the classroom. Regardless of what your own identity is, it’s important to have diverse educators. We teach through the lens we live—so let that lens be many. #art #savvyart #education

I haven’t played guitar in about 5 years since my ex pawned off all my instruments. But last week, I bought a new one 😌 and to celebrate (and try to overcome my performance anxiety), I thought it would be funny to do acoustic covers of songs that don’t really belong as acoustic lol.
